Due to the low ground clearance of the DARO low bed braked axle,it is beneficial to reduce the center of gravity of the vehicle to a certain extent, making it easier to load and unload goods, and improving driving stability accordingly. When vehicles transport ultra high goods on the height limited road section, the trafficability will also be stronger.
Secondly, the wall thickness and strength of the low flat axle are higher. Compared to ordinary semi trailer bridges, the 20Mn2 seamless steel pipe wall thickness used for low flat plate axles is higher. Not only are the axle beams, but also the hub, brake drum, friction plate, and other accessories of low flat plate axles are dedicated, fully meeting the standards from strength to toughness to wear resistance.
Unlike ordinary semi trailer bridges, low bed braked axle belongs to a special type of axle, which differs from ordinary axle in appearance and performance. The loading capacity of a low flatbed semi trailer can reach about 140 cubic meters, which is much higher than the volume of a standard van semi trailer, and even equivalent to the total loading capacity of a central axle front vehicle+rear vehicle.
