A good vehicle, why will there be a broken shaft? The reasons can be divided into two aspects:


1. External factors:


(1) Side collision: After a general vehicle collision, there is a high probability of broken axle. The reason is that the collision force has exceeded the range of bearing capacity of the axle or suspension. For example, the impact or extrusion of the side or rear side hardly requires too much strength to lead to broken axle.


(2) Turning: if the vehicle turns too fast, the outside tire may hit the curb or the guardrail, causing the broken shaft.


(3) Encounter potholes or low obstacles: for example, encounter a big pit on the road, or meet the upper limit wide pier, if the speed is fast, the impact force to the chassis system is very large, easy to lead to broken shaft.


(4) Overload: for transport vehicles, overload is a very common factor leading to shaft breakage. Beyond the limit of vehicle load, chassis parts bear too much pressure, which is also prone to shaft breakage.


2. Internal factors:


(1) The material is not up to standard: the material of the axle is generally selected alloy steel with qualified strength. If the manufacturer covets cheap raw materials and uses poor materials, it is easy to break the axle.


(2) Unqualified process: in the case of selecting the right raw materials, if the treatment process is unreasonable or substandard, the performance of steel can not be fully played, but also easy to affect the use of.


(3) There are problems in the structural design: for the trailer axle, trailer suspension, which has higher requirements on the bearing capacity of the parts, generally need to go through a strict and professional design, if the structure is unreasonable, it is easy to fracture in the case of stress concentration.


(4) Old scars: that is, we often say fatigue fracture, that is, the axle may have no problem in quality, but in the long time of use, there are some old scars, if not timely maintenance or update, it may eventually lead to broken shaft.


(5) Manufacturing defects: there are many parts of the vehicle chassis. If there are shrinkage holes and sand holes on the parts, it is likely that the thick line will break without external force.


It can be seen that there is more than one reason for the phenomenon of broken shaft. The quality problem of the parts themselves is on the one hand, and the daily use habits of the owners is on the other.


Some owners ask: After the trailer shaft is broken, can it be repaired and continued to use?
