1. Less-load transportation has the characteristics of many varieties, small batches and multiple batches, which can meet the needs of cargo transportation of people at different levels and facilitate the actual needs of mass material production and flow.

2. Less-than-truckload transport is flexible, fixed line, regular, fixed-point operation, business personnel and shipping units are more clear about the transport situation, easy to organize the source of goods along the way, high load rate, significant economic benefits, for competitive, seasonal and much-needed sporadic cargo transport is of great significance.

3. Can do door-to-door pick-up, delivery to home, can effectively shorten the delivery time of goods, accelerate capital turnover.

Disadvantages of less-than-carload transportation:

1. The unit transportation cost of less carload goods is higher, and it is more prone to cargo damage and poor goods due to its many turnover links.

2. Compared with vehicle transportation, less-than-load transportation needs to be equipped with a certain warehouse, shed, platform, and the corresponding loading and unloading, handling, stacking machinery, due to its turnover links, more likely to appear cargo damage, poor goods, so the transportation cost of less-than-load goods is higher.

3. Because the goods sent by the owner are not enough for one car, the goods are scattered, and the goods need to be assembled and the departure speed is relatively slow.
