Ordinary trailer bridge maintenance:
1, disassemble the hub, clean the bearing, journal, hub cavity, clean the old grease, and then dry the cavity with a clean rag;
2, check the wheel hub, bearing, bearing ring, such as cracks, loose, loose roller and other problems, timely replacement;
3. Check the matching gap between the bearing inner diameter and the axle diameter, choose the upper and lower two points of the axle diameter perpendicular to the ground when measuring, if the gap is > 0.1mm, the bearing needs to be replaced;
4. Add appropriate amount of new grease between the inner seat ring and the roller, thin layer can be, too much easy to affect heat dissipation and braking;
5. Install the wheel hub.
Maintenance free trailer bridge maintenance:
1, regularly through the transparent cover of the shaft end, check whether the lubricant level is normal, whether there is deterioration, discoloration and other phenomena, add or replace on time;
2, at an interval of 12 months or 100,000 kilometers, open the oil injection hole, and use a magnet probe to go deep into the lubricating oil to check whether there are iron debris impurities;
3, regularly check the hub fasteners, check whether there is loosening, whether the hub cap is damaged, whether there is oil leakage; Every 12 months or 100,000 kilometers, the wheel end will be set up to check whether there is abnormal noise in rotation and whether the bearing is abnormal shaking.
Some owners because of the use of maintenance-free axle, feel that it can be "maintenance-free", the operation process is indifferent to it, in fact, this is completely wrong, because "maintenance-free" is originally just a publicity stunt, refers to the maintenance cycle is long, does not mean no maintenance, especially when the use of the vehicle is relatively complex, its maintenance cycle should be shortened accordingly. The relevant maintenance inspection work is more essential, even in the maintenance range, it is also recommended that the owner do a good job of repair and maintenance work on time.
