How can we increase the loading capacity of blue brand light trucks within the scope of compliance? The middle axle car became one of the options.


In fact, according to the reason, the blue brand light truck and trailer are completely different two types of models, the combination of these two kinds of vehicles, can really play a "1+1 > 2" role?


Let's look at the advantages of this model first.


This combination is in the back of the light truck with a center axle trailer. From the actual announcement data, the length of the middle axle carriage at the back can generally reach 7m, and the rated load is about 2.4t. In this way, counting the light truck on the front side, the compliant loading capacity of the whole vehicle can reach about 4.5t, and the length is about 12m.


For short-distance light dumping, such vehicle length and loading capacity have far exceeded 6*8 cargo boxes. The middle axle carriage can also share the load bearing of the front light truck to a certain extent, and alleviate the pressure of "overload".


In addition, the front and back of such a combined vehicle can be separated, and the front car can still be used after the rear car is disconnected. If used in the stall scene, the rear trailer can be used directly as a stall, which is efficient and convenient to use.


Having looked at the advantages, let's look at the disadvantages of this model.

The most obvious is security. Compared with the traditional light truck, this combination model adopts the way of towing connection, and the configuration is relatively simple, if the driving technology is not qualified or the load is too high, it is easy to swing the tail and other phenomena, affecting the driving safety trailer axles.


Secondly, the axle of this combination model is generally about 4, and the high-speed toll has also increased significantly, which is not suitable for high-speed transportation.


Finally, there is the problem of licensing and taking the car on the road. Although it is said that the blue light card can be opened with a C license, when the middle axle car is hung behind it, it has become a freight train, no longer belongs to the category of light trucks, and it is necessary to hold A2 licenses to open such a model on the road.


Some owners said: now the introduction of C6 driver's license, can it not be used for this light truck + middle axle model?


In fact, purely from the model point of view, C6 driver's license is indeed applicable, but there is a provision for the applicable model of C6 driver's license, that is, the total mass of the tractor and trailer is less than (does not include equal to) 4500kg. Otherwise, you can only use A2 photos.


In addition, on the issue of licensing, this model may not be able to get on the blue plate, but also depends on the vehicle's own conditions, under normal circumstances, only meet the following three points at the same time, in order to get on the blue plate:


The total length should not exceed 6 meters;


The total mass shall not exceed 4.5t;


The tonnage of the upper household shall not exceed 2t.


If you do not meet any of these three conditions, you can only be booked.

At present, this combination of light truck + center axle model, the positioning is vague in the regulations, the attitude of the regulations is not clear for the time being, and it seems to be worth a wide range of promotion. However, according to relevant statistics, the number of blue brand light trucks in China is as high as one million, of which the proportion of illegal models reached 68%, that is to say, nearly 700,000 models are non-compliant. What should I do with these models? Is it to be eliminated, or to continue to stick to the path of compliance? I'm afraid we need to see the final definition of the regulation trailer axles.
